Throwback to this awesome close-up of opossum nesting behavior! Did you know opossums gather leaves in their prehensile tails to use as cozy nesting material? Look at this absolute rock star gathering up leaves just a few moments after he was released. One of our wonderful volunteers released this guy and a few of his siblings on her wooded property in rural Missouri a few years ago.
