The other day Ellie asked for hard words and sentences. SO, I wrote out a plot-story for her to read! She aced her sentences (little smartie) and--kind of cool--like Isabelle, she really seemed to empathize with the main character, Barney, an elephant! She said Barney felt sad, and she felt sad for him. She said Barney felt sad because he's cold and it's winter... but (so interesting--and also quite true) she doesn't feel sad in the winter.
