Behind the scenes of “Apocalypto” (2006) This is my favourite film by Mel Gibson - the director. Stunningly beautiful shots and masterful direction combined with raw and truthful performances made for a unique film like no other. There is no film to compare it to. A lot of the characters were played by non-actors, and Mel did an incredible job directing them to achieve great performances. The dedication it took to pull this film off is admirable.
