The college's campaign of suppressing student life goes back years and the post-pandemic moment in 2021 and 2022 was when the school really ramped up their efforts to stamp out lively student life from living memory at Kenyon and contributed heavily to student misery during my senior year.

Sep 19, 2024 · In 2004, Kenyon students made history by waiting in line for up to 11 hours to cast their ballots on Election Day. The New York Times, NPR and Associated Press covered the story, capturing the enthusiasm and energy of the hundreds of students who showed up to the polls to vote. In 2020, Kenyon’s student voting rate was 86.6%, well above the national average of 66%.
From the Archives: The Horn Gallery’s humble beginnings
Oct 3, 2024 · At the start of the 1993-94 academic year, a desperate and ambitious Kenyon student wrote to the Collegian asking her fellow students to help clean out a small, decrepit barn north of Peirce Dining Hall. What at the time was the oldest building on campus was about to fulfill its true purpose.
