Feb 28, 2006 · The data from the dyno run proved what we were able to figure out just from riding the SRX 700: there's lots of power in this sled, right from the start. Heck, we were at a cool 110 hp at 7000 rpm, and it just got better from there. Our technicians found the peak 140.9 horsepower right around 8250.
Porting - Snowmobile Engines - Aaen Performance
Our dyno developed and field tested trail porting places priority on a wide powerband with good back up torque. For maximum power output, the head should be machined to match the trail porting.
1998 srx 700 dyno run - Hardcore Sledder
Dec 17, 2005 · Most 98 SRXs seem to run best at 8500 rpm for drag racing. Don't always go by the dyno rpm reading. It really depends on what it likes in the real world. The pipes would tend to run hotter and therefore at a higher rpm on the dyno after a couple of pulls, but not here for some reason. Someone's tach may be off or the pipes weren't heated up.

Viper jetting vs SRX - Hardcore Sledder
