Dec 19, 2017 · Completed the White Rim back in October for the first time going clockwise. Stayed at White Crack and Hardscrabble B. Used those to split the trip in logical parts. I went fairly slow stopping to take a lot of photos and soak the place in. Can be done in 2-days but I wanted more time. Depends on how you want to slice it up.

Apr 12, 2017 · I thought I would be slick hiding out and camping for the night in a very remote part of the trail around half way through…turns out I was wrong…a friggin park ranger on a bicycle just happened to roll by at 6am when I was breaking down camp lol. I did pay on the way out though so I didnt feel too bad. It's a very long and beautiful trail.

Jan 17, 2022 · We already have our entry pass to The Arches, and plan to do Zion and a few other areas in Utah. One area I was contemplating is a perhaps a 1 night/2-day trip on the White Rim Trail. If we did that, we would have our trailer with us as our '21 JLUR isn't outfitted for overnight trips and we don't want to bring our ground camping gear.

I have America the beautiful pass, I I don't know if this pass is going to cover the White Rim trail overnight backcountry permit or Day Use permit. I can't find any information about it. I'm afraid of go over there after hundreds of miles and found that I can't stay at White Crack campground.

My must see areas are all around MOAB, Canyonlands National Park, North Rim of the Grand Canyon, White Rim is good, also check out the Rim Rocker Trail south of Moab. Shaffer trail is good for the experience.
