How to Visit The ASK Academy; Re-Enrollment for 2025-2026 (Returning Families Only)

The ASK Academy is a public charter school, open to any New Mexico resident in grades 6-12 regardless of race, color, gender, creed, or religious affiliation. The ASK Academy accepts all scholars who come to the academy in “good standing” with all records and immunizations as space is available.

ASK is state authorized charter school for 6th through 12th grades scholars interested in STEM careers within the areas of biomedical sciences and engineering and design. ASK teaches with traditional methodologies but also through hands-on, project based learning strategies.

The founders of The ASK Academy – A STEM Innovation were so excited to bring a 6th-through-12th-grade public school of choice to Northwest Albuquerque and the greater Rio Rancho area in 2010.

ASK is ranked in the top 14% Best High Schools in the entire country: US News & World Report, 2023 We have developed a powerful Dual Credit agreement for engineering courses with the University of New Mexico’s Schools of Engineering; specifically the Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE) and Mechanical Engineering (ME) schools.
