Seattle’s Bay Lady, a majestic 85-foot schooner, is more than just a boat – she’s a vessel steeped in history and tradition. Built in 1988 at the Washburn & Doughty Shipyard in Maine, a yard known for producing sturdy commercial vessels, Bay Lady was purpose-built for whale watching.

Seattle’s Tall Ship operates the schooner Bay Lady. She has the largest passenger capacity of any sailing ship on the west coast, and is the only public sailing cruise in Seattle licensed to serve alcohol and snacks.
