May 3, 2020 · You don't use it by running it like most programs, you use command prompt to run it. Copy the scs_extractor file to your ETS/ATS folder, and in command prompt use the 'cd' command to go to that folder. Then run it by typing this in command prompt: scs_extractor archive.scs Replace 'archive.scs' with the name of the file you want to use it on.

The problem, no .scs file works when I drag and drop on the SCS Extractor. I get a black window that opens for a microsecond and then nothing, no matter how long I wait.

Nov 4, 2012 · I haven't played around with scs files in a while but I thought all you had to do was rename the extension .rar instead of .scs, then use winrar to decompress it. You can go in, make changes, compress it again and then rename it back to .scs. Does this make it easier?

They include unique companies and cargos, and they're in their own .scs files, i.e. dlc_east.scs, dlc_fr.scs, and dlc_north.scs. The Scandinavia DLC (dlc_north) includes the cargo atl_cod_flt, for instance. If you extract the dlc_XX.scs files to the same folder as the def.scs, it'll merge their folders and show all cargos together.
