The younger brother of the supreme sun goddess Amaterasu and the moon god Tsukuyomi (the "three noble children" of creator god Izanagi), Susanoo was portrayed as a wild, impetuous god of storms, the sea, and agriculture, as well as a hero who slew a legendary serpent monster, Yamata-no-Orochi.

Susano’o no Mikoto is a supporting antagonist in the manga/anime series Record of Ragnarok. He is the main antagonist of the Tenth Round of the Ragnarok Tournament.

Following the proclamation of Ragnarok, the challenge between Gods and Humans for the salvation of Humanity, Susano'o is included among the 13 fighters for the Gods. [1]

Soji Okita is Humanity 's representative in the tenth round of Ragnarok, going against Susano'o no Mikoto. He is the " Shinsengumi's First Division Captain " (新撰組一番隊組長, Shinsengumi Ichibantai Kumichō) [1].

Considering ROR Susanoo is much more mature than his Mythological counterpart was for majority of his life.....I would say, that he is treating his wife very nicely actually.

I do wonder what's generic about Susanoo. RoR Gods tend to be nothing like they are in myths so I don't see why Susanoo would be the exception. Seriously who thinks that a character from one nation fighting their own god is remotely creative?
