We are a league of athletes on wheels that brought roller derby back to Philadelphia, PA. Our league is comprised of skaters, officials and volunteers, as well as countless fans and supporters. PRD is comprised of competitive adult and junior teams that play away and at home.

Jun 5, 2019 · In 1967, 6 years after the inception of the new, more fast paced, and theatrical version of co-ed Roller Derby, the Philadelphia Warriors (also called the Eastern Warriors) were moved cross-country from Hawaii all the way to Philadelphia.

From 1967 to 1974, the arena was home to the Eastern Warriors, a Roller Derby team, skating every Friday and Sunday, usually to capacity. In 1977, the deteriorating building was auctioned off.
