Sudden Laggy, slow Digital dice rolling - D&D Beyond
Oct 19, 2020 · My dice were rolling on my laptop in Chrome so silky smooth until two weeks ago. I even rolled 20+ health potion dice at once just to watch them slosh around. Then two weeks ago the digital dice started to roll one jerky step at a time and it takes around 45 seconds to a minute for the roll to finish.
How do DMs roll dice on D&D Beyond?
Jun 8, 2024 · FYI, to roll dice in the browser VTT you need to roll them from a character who is claimed in the campaign. Dice rolls from the character sheet populate in the game log. It's clunky and I hope they implement an actual dice roller in the VTT itself but the character sheet rolling seems to be the intent for now.

To me, it's important they don't see all the attack rolls, in case I messed up on setting the encounter and they are getting stomped unjustly. (Had to fudge some rolls when the dice gods threw a fit and top party attack roll was a 12 over 2 rounds!)

Jun 15, 2022 · On the 'Home' tab, be sure that digital dice rolling is turned on. Go back to view the sheet. Lower left of the sheet has a wireframe of a d20 planted there. Click it, and a bunch of dice options appear - d20, d12, d10, 2d10 for a percentile roll, d8, d6, d4. Totally custom roll, I made one for Toll The Dead damaged enemy, d12s instead of the d8s.
