Mar 18, 2022 · My phone companion app is the cause of my surface pro crashing. When starting my surface pro the app slows everything from loading and crashes computer. I had this happen three times and tried repairing and end up resetting app then everything works faster. if I don't use the app then everything works fine.

Jan 2, 2020 · The phone I have, is a Samsung Galaxy s10, PC is i7 processor, 16Gb memory, windows 10 Pro (Build 19536.1000). It has a bluetooth connection to the phone using a plugin dongle, so no problems there. The phone is connected to my wi-fi network, my PC is plugged directly into the router.

Aug 3, 2015 · Got rid of it and Cortana works well with the phone companion and is actually required. So everyone having trouble, check if Cortana is activated and has internet access, than phone companion should work. My Cortana is activated and I do have good Internet access. Phone Companion still will not recognize my phone.
