Sep 22, 2023 · Before I moved to the US, I loved those mini kinder Surprise toys. They don't have them in the US. A kinder egg is a chocolate egg made of quality milky, creamy European chocolate (think Nutella), with a delicious white chocolate lining. Kids split the egg in half, and inside is a plastic figurine of sorts. A kinder joy is a lot more frustrating.

Sep 16, 2020 · After devouring the egg, I opened the yellow container with the toy. It was amazing. Then all of a sudden in 2012, they became banned. and were replaced with Kinder Joy eggs, which to be honest weren't even close to resembling a smooth chocolate egg.
