Oct 20, 2018 · The GDR’s need for hard currency exports led IFA to export both the F8 and F9. As IFA were able to return to passenger car production before Auto-Union in Ingolstadt, IFA was able to reconnect with the overseas DKW sale network, much to Auto-Union’s chagrin.
