Within our environment, we're still using Windows 10 64-bit 21H2 Enterprise edition. We have a few Surface Pro 7's in the past and a task sequence was created that pushed the OS, driver pack, and software required.
Extracting hardware drivers from an .exe installer package
Feb 23, 2022 · That is supposed to get just the drivers and not the other apps, tasks, dlls, etc. that running the package's setup.exe would install. However, it didn't work for me. I updated from within Device Manager, but I still got all the extra Nvidia stuff. I extracted the files from the driver release via a different method.

May 10, 2022 · My driver package list contains two entries that cannot be removed because the underlying driver seem to be missing. I can reinstall these driver, but this two items remain unchanged. When clicking on Unistall, this message pops up: I have tried to uninstall manually using dpinst-amd64.exe. But the file does not exist.

Sep 20, 2023 · Did not manage to start "Full Driver & Software Package", but i found a kind of work around to enable to print wirelessly. First connect the printer to the network. Then in windows go under Bluetooth & Devices > Printers & Scanners > click Add device.
