Basalt Rock is a material found in the Volcanic biomes from mining Volcanic Rocks, Gem Stone Deposits and more rarely Gold Deposits. Basalt Rock is used to create Coarse Whetstone at the Grindstone, which can be used to make and repair sharp tools and weapons.

May 10, 2021 · The basalt rock can be found when mining on the lava floor area, the place you had to use water bottles in order to walk on if not you'll burned to death.

Jan 19, 2022 · All I can say for sure is that every map has 5 islands so there has to be one somewhere. You’ll just have to keep searching til you find it. if i remember correctly, it's the 4th difficulty island that has the red biome! 4th and I believe 5th also. Yup the last 2 islands have it. Lava and jungle map. Its on the difficulty 4 and 5 Islands.

May 30, 2021 · Look for dark rocks with ore And the red ore normally drop them for me. There're not rare, usually I'll got 1 or 2 of them when mining red gem ores or gold ores. After long times looking and mining gold ore now I have plenty full stacks of basalt rock :))

Volcanic Rock is a type of Rock Formation found in The Survivalist. They can be found on the Fourth Island. They are those Rock Formation which contain Basalt Rock, Brimstone and Stone Chunks. They can be identified by their black hue. Mining a Volcanic Rock requires a Lightweight Pickaxe or better.
