hognose vs. ball python?
Nov 1, 2010 · The strike-and-constrict action of the ball python is an amazing thing to experience as opposed to the chase-and-subdue action of the hognose. We don't see the ball pythons during the day - we see the hognose more - unless he's buried under the substrate. The little keeled body of the hognose is a break from the heavy smooth ball python.

Ball Python yawning is this normal?
Nov 2, 2010 · My Ball Python came out of his hide looked at me and yawned 3 times in a row is this normal? nothing has changed in his cage, hes in a 30 long aquarium the temps on the hot side are 97 degrees and on the cool side 80 degrees. He has one hide on the warm side and a dish of water on the cool side, hes 9 months old and 2 ft long.

Oct 7, 2016 · Hey! I was wondering what the general consensus is on hybrid python species. I personally find them so beautiful, but questionably unnatural (although so are dogs I guess). What types are there I've heard of burmballs (burmese x ball), bateaters (burm x retic), carpalls (carpet x ball) Can literally any python breed with any python? And with boas?
Moving With a Ball Python
Jul 8, 2017 · My ball python is pretty young, not a baby but juvenile for sure and was 110 grams the last time I weighed him. He will not be the only animal making the trip, there will also be a dog and two cats coming with us, the cats will be in carriers but the dog is too large so he will be free for the most part.
