I have a Ruger American 22LR, with the 10/22 style magazine and have shot at least a dozen different brands/types of ammo through it, ranging from Eley and Federal Gold Medal match to bulk boxes, mostly 40 gr but some 38 gr.

Dec 4, 2023 · The aftermarket barrel cost me $125 10 years ago. However, I would expect your CZ to shoot better than my Ruger 10-22's to start with. I doubt that you would see that much gain just setting the barrel back and rechambering it. There are more differences than the chamber between a match rifle and a factory rifle.

May 16, 2022 · We have shot a lot of .22 long range (for .22). Ditto on scope elevation. I use a 20 MOA rail. Also use NF ATACR scope from my 338 when we go beyond 300 yards. At 300 it will be like shooting a .308 with a 175 SMK over 1,000 yards. When to shoot and when not to shoot! This with a subsonic .22 round like CCI SV, Eley or Lapua.

May 4, 2021 · Fun day yesterday shooting the 22 match. Switched it up some, shot some bulk loose packed blazer ammo i had sitting around for over 20 years. Figured it would shoot around 1500 pt range, to my surprise it shot 2 cards over 2200 pts for the win.
