Oct 2, 2023 · Baba Yaga was a terrifying figure of my childhood, and I thought it was time to pay homage to her. Having found an illustration that faithfully captures my imagination, by artist Raluca Losifescu, I did my best to make her both repulsive and alluring.

An environment concept art depiction of the monstrous house of the infamous Baba Yaga, a mythical character from Slavic folklore. The set includes a detailed cut-out of the house's interior, a shot of the exterior of the house, a blueprint and a prop sheet all designed by our concept artist Haron M H Younis.

Baba Yaga is a Slavic mythical creature known to live in a walking house. For this project I did a set design for the interior of the house, alongside a production shot, a turn-around of the house and a prop sheet.
