Sep 10, 2010 · Grubworms appeared earlier than ever in Iowa (early August), but those were June beetle larvae. Now we're finding northern mask chafer larvae. During the past 4 weeks, we've treated 3 - 5 lawns per day for grubs. We used up the last of our Dylox, and have recently switched to "Aloft". Dylox = 30 lb bags.
