Getting Started - Mock Trial
How many students are on a mock trial team? What roles do they play? A team consists of anywhere from 6 to 10 students. A team competes twice as both the plaintiff/prosecution and the defense at each tournament. On each side of the case, 3 students compete as attorneys and 3 students compete as witnesses.

Oct 15, 2024 · Indicate the school’s authorization for mock trial team(s) to register with AMTA and participate in sanctioned tournaments; Indicate the signer’s willingness to serve as a point of contact for major violations, grievances, or emergencies involving the school’s mock trial program;
Regional Tournament Team Assignments - Mock Trial
Open Bids will be distributed to the next best team, nationwide, which did not qualify for ORCS. AMTA does not anticipate distributing any Open Bids until – at the earliest – the week between the third and fourth weekends of Regionals.
