2D Drawings - Ford Transit USA Forum
May 4, 2015 · Looking for some Transit cargo 148WB MR 2D drawings for laying out camper/conversion plans. Easily found for Sprinters, but have seen nothing for Transit. The Transit 148wb interior cargo length appears to be 11" longer than the 144wb Sprinter,...but both the same width (69").

Jun 25, 2022 · Maybe do a 2D drawing that shows every item and every wire in the system. The electrical diagram was completed before I started the installation. Much less difficulty to correct errors on the computer drawing before starting than with the hardware as it is installed. Drawing would be useful if a malfunction occurs.

Jun 29, 2016 · Does anyone have an accurate drawing of the floor and door openings etc? A solid model as a STEP or IGES would be awesome but any 2D DXF is a huge help. I will make a 3D model and post it here. I'm looking for a 148WB medium roof. Standard length. Thanks

Apr 21, 2018 · I used a simple 2D CAD program (GeneralCadd) and it was all that I required. Draw a floor plan and a elevation for the left side and the right side cabinets. With a combination of cardboard and string/rope inside a van, the 3D space visualization will be very apparent. Much clearer and faster than a 3D model IMO.

Gut some cardboard to a rough shape that fits into the area I am working on. (Trim to fit, or tape on more carboard if the pieces are too small.) 4.
Medium or High roof for RV? Pros and cons of each?
Sep 18, 2018 · I am looking at the 2D drawing files... it appears that the HR roof length is ~8" shorter than that of the MR. That may present an issue with the PV and vents I need to place up there. I do not want to have any PV directly over the slope and into the wind flow.

Recirculating hot water to avoid waste (not a recirculating shower)
Aug 27, 2024 · Assuming maybe 15 feet of pipe in a worst case situation for the shower run, that's about 18.45 fl oz of water waste before drawing fresh hot water from the heater. Not great, but not awful either. Joe Horton's point that the simple hot recirc line back to the tank can also delay freezing of water in the tank is novel.
