Jun 10, 2016 · Yes. I spray anywhere from 2-300 acres a year using these. Both pasture and hay meadows. It kills Bahia really well. We don't have dallisgrass but I'm sure it will kill it too. It's a generic pastora.

Jun 20, 2013 · Pastora has been good for me (south Louisiana) in controlling Vasey, Johnsongrass, crabgrass, dallis grass, and bahia. Only the max rate, 1.5 oz/ac, seems to be the most effective however. At that rate, it will stunt your bermuda, probably to the point of losing one cutting if the weather doesn't cooperate with you and you don't get some urea ...

Aug 19, 2010 · Dont misunderstand me, it looked like hell at first, almost like it had been sprayed with Journey. Overall, I have been a little dissapointed with applying pastora alone because the burs are still alive as well as the foxtail. I have started putting pint of some generic roundup with an 1 oz of pastora and it works really well.

Jul 30, 2012 · Local feed/fertilizer store reccommended Pastora and ,per the other comments on this excellent forum,I gave it a shot. My first issue was the JG had grown to the 2-4 foot range before I got it sprayed. It has now been 4 weeks and the JG is looking pretty bad and obivously getting sicker each day.

Mar 23, 2014 · Label information for TX(download). I sprayed Pastora a couple of weeks ago on some Quackgrass....label says to spray in the early growth stages....broadleafs about 4 inches tall.....grasses about 2 inches tall. Regards, Mike

Jan 5, 2010 · Ok thanks for your info, I looked at that product, I think its generic roundup. Last year I sprayed pastura post emergent, for sandburrs, and it also killed johnsongrass but they all came back late in the year, and pastura cost 15/ac just for product!!
