Most option I looked into were almost $300 for a 4x8' sheet which would put me way over budget. I ended up building the box out of 3/4" birch plywood.

I haven’t been able to find any posts about the Motion 3, it seems like it’s a newer model. I want to make sure whichever I go with will clear the shark fin antenna, and spoiler on the lift gate.

May 4, 2023 · Consider adding another 1-2 bars off craigslist, if your box has a flat bottom like the Thule Force or Yakima Skybox. You can fit up to 4 OEM bars on the rack if you want. This adds weight capacity for small cost. If you can't go with extra bars due to box design (as on the Thule Motion), I like the LFD ones.
