The Indian Youth Congress (IYC), on Friday, staged a protest against former chief minister and AAP's national convenor Arvind Kejriwal for his failure to keep his promise of cleaning the Yamuna river.
Former Delhi CM on Friday said that the toxicity of the water in the Yamuna in Delhi had come down, thanks to the protests by the Aam Aadmi Party and the people of the national capital. He further said that the Election Commission has threatened to "punish" him for his stance on the Yamuna water ahead of the Delhi Assembly polls.

He emphasised that his statements were not intended to accuse any party of malicious intent but were meant to highlight a serious environmental and public health crisis.
