Marianne Faithfull died Thursday in London at age 78. The singer, actress and 'It' girl of 1960s London inspired — or wrote — numerous Rolling Stones songs. Kristin also said her feet would be so swollen from shooting in high heels all week that she had a special pair of shoes that were one size too big to wear on weekends.

Marianne Faithfull's first hit, "As Tears Go By," was recorded when she was just 17 years old after she met with the manager of the Rolling Stones at a party.
