She might have forgotten how the mechanism of walking works, but Sunita Williams has broken the record of spacewalking at the International Space Station (ISS)!Thanks to the extended mission of ISS, the Indian-origin astronaut has broken the record for total spacewalking time by a woman by logging 62 hours and 6 minutes of spacewalk!

As for the spacewalk itself, if you’d like to watch along with the event, it will be livestreamed on NASA’s streaming service, NASA+. Coverage begins at 6:30 a.m. ET on Thursday, with the spacewalk itself beginning at 8 a.m. ET.

NASA’s two stuck astronauts took their first spacewalk together Thursday, exiting the International Space Station almost eight months after moving in. Commander Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore removed a broken antenna and wiped the station’s exterior for evidence of any microbes that might still be alive after launching from Earth and escaping through vents.
