This definitely looked a lot prettier than its warmer cousin, with the coffee and pistachio creating a fun layered effect. The iced version is made with oat milk, the defualt option for this drink.
This tasted more like warm pistachio ice cream than like you’re eating nuts with your coffee. I did get the hot version, which is typically sweeter, so maybe that probably tipped the scales a bit.
Pistachio has become so much more popular over the past year, and it's clear to see why - but did Starbucks' offering live up to the nutty hype that surrounds the flavour?
