Short drive from Pittsburgh. Had previously visited Falling Waters, another of Wrights homes. Didn't find Kentuck Knob as impressive as Falling Waters. The interior is done in dark paneling, with … Full review by rbthodge

We did the tour on a pleasant October morning. Luanne, our tour guide is excellent. It was fun to get to see this unusual home. We had failed to get advanced tickets to tour Falling Water, and so we … Full review by Gail G
Is it worth doing to Woodland Walk and seeing the outside of the house/it's setting etc if you can't tour the inside? Are you able to see the "view" from the visitor center/gift shop if you don't do the house tour?
A:
I'd allow a 30-40 minutes to walk around. It's not much to walk around though it is very scenic. The house is the special part./
I would love to know what the ticket prices are for JUST THE REGULAR TOUR of Kentuck Knob, please...

Hi Jeannette, I see others have answered your question, but I'm going to add some additional advice. You CAN do both the Fallingwater tour and the Kentuck Knob tour in one afternoon. It just takes knowing the timing. You'd want to book Falllingwater around 12:30. Even though you book it in for 12:30, depending on how busy they are, you may not go on the tour until 12:45 or 12:50. The tour takes one hour, and then you'll go to another vantage point to take photos of the house from a distance. So allow 1.5 for your time there, and another 10 minutes to walk to the parking area. Then it will take you about 20-30 minutes to drive the 8 miles to kentuck knob, The tour there lasts around 45 minutes and then you could take the outside sculpture tour to get back to their paling area. Allow 30 minutes for that. Have a wonderful time. Welcome to Pennsylvania. Ironically, I'm heading to Columbus on Thursday for a dance weekend.
