I googled 'campsites in Bernallilo' and three came up. Check the reviews out for yourself. Depending on your previous day or the next day planned (the historic site won't take a full day to tour), I would recommend staying in the national forest either in Jemez Springs, Santa Fe, or on the backside of the Sandia mountains -- all beautiful locations nestled in the trees. Enjoy!
