Yes! you can bring a water bottle and your phone for pics. You can not take any bags though.

Are there lockers, or a secure parking area, to leave, passports, money, cards etc? Where did you all leave your documents, essential medication.

You leave your car in a parking area that is well off the beaten track. So, if you lock your car it is unlikely that a random person would break in.

Does Canyon X have a gift shop?
A:
I don't think so. The 'reception centre' is a small wooden hut where they sort out your reservation and ticket. It's all pretty low key. But it's well worth the visit - the Canyon is awesome
