I would definitely recommend visiting here. There are 'room sets' that one can walk around. A 'viking' hut and other amazing displays. We really didn't have much time (only a few hours). But it also has plenty of washrooms/a picnic area, shop, lockers (which if I remember need a returnable £1 coin). Also, the staff there are wonderful. Extremely knowledgeable, patient and enthusiastic. They don't just stand there glaring at you, They come and talk about the exhibits. WELL worth taking a school party along. (the cafe is quite reasonable too).
