A Grade I listed Victorian theatre in Newcastle upon Tyne, offering a varied and vibrant programme of; comedy, music, theatre, entertainment & family shows. Tyne Theatre & Opera House is an independent venue and charity, boasting a rare example wooden modular under-stage machinery and a rich history. The theatre was built in 1867 by industrialist and politician Joseph Cowen who envisioned a 'theatre for everyone', which remains at the heart of the venue's ethos.

Me and the wife went to the overtones show on Monday we enjoyed the show but the theatre was freezing if I had known about the lack of heating I wouldn't have gone Full review by Frank P
