Ronald R. Johnson, MD, is the co-director of the Magee-Womens Breast Cancer Program. He specializes in surgical oncology, specifically breast cancer. Dr. Johnson received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Scranton, and a medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He completed residencies at UPMC and the University of Pittsburgh Medical School. Dr. Johnson’s research interests are focused on patient education, minimally invasive technology, and neoadjuvant therapy of breast cancer. He is the local principal investigator for the American College of Surgeons Oncology Group.
