They have smaller bikes for kids in the back of the shop. We had to ask because they were trying to put my 10 year old on an adult bike with a lower seat. The kids bike was smaller and much more manageable for him to cycle around the city.
Is this tour a good way to go see the countryside? Is it open in late March?

We did the city tour, we had 14 in our group. It was our first day in amsterdam and it was a good way to see the city and keep busy after an overnight flight from JFK
