What an amazing place - so quiet and peaceful Take your time . . . and watch and wait. The hides all have telescopes so that you can zoom in on the wildlife - mainly birds of course. Full review by RichardTRCathcart

We were at the visitor centre yesterday and noticed there was a water bowl for dogs outside. Dogs are not permitted in the visitor centre or the hides (guide dogs are allowed). I would suggest for someone to wait outside with the dog or have a little walk while others go in and then swap over. It is well worth a visit and you would not want to miss it especially if you are staying in the area
