We have 4 yurts and 3 cabins total. They are reservable year round. In addition to the 7 units, two of our units are full-service. We have a full-service yurt, Pretty Point, which has full accommodations including heat, running water, bathroom, 2 bedrooms, and a kitchen (stocked with appliances and utensils). We also opened our full-service cabin, York Cabin, in November that has the same accommodations with one bedroom (and a bed in the loft). As for our daily winter activities, we have cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. We pack, groom, and track the trails (granted there is enough snowfall). We also have certain special events in the winter which are the First Find, First Day Hike on January 1st and our long running Winterfest event in February. The campground is located on an old growth Cottonwood forest next to the Missouri River so the bird-watching is wonderful in the winter. We have a small visitor center (with our interpretive tree and panels) that is open daily throughout the winter (closed on federal holidays).
